Community Integration

The Community Integration program is designed to help persons optimize their personal, social and vocational competencies in order to live successfully in the community.

Community Employment Services

Community Employment Services assist a person seeking employment in choosing, obtaining and retaining integrated employment in the community. Supported Employment is a subset of these services and includes:

  • Job Development
  • Job-site Training
  • Job Supports

Volunteer Services

We Like to Help! Straits Area Services is proud of our volunteering efforts in the community. We volunteer at several non-profit organizations throughout the area. Some of the organizations we work with include:

  • Salvation Army
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Cheboygan County Council on Aging
  • Cheboygan Chamber of Commerce
