About Us

Straits Area Services is a Community Rehabilitation Organization providing services to adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness in Cheboygan County. Our private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization has been in operation at the same location for over thirty-five years.

Our Vision Statement

The vision of Straits Area Services, Inc. is to provide expanded life long services to persons with challenges in collaboration with community partners, based on moral and ethical principles.

The mission of Straits Area Services, Inc. is to enhance the quality of life for persons with challenges, through employment and social opportunities within our community.
